We provide a unique learning experience in a beautiful rural setting, utilising the skills of a fully trained teaching team in a school day kindergarten.
Please feel free to come and visit. Our philosophy emphasizes the importance of children's emotional wellbeing and social competency, and we value family input into our inquiry based programme. Licensed for ages 2-6 year olds.
Centre charges
- -If a child attends 3 days or less and they attest their 20 hours to us there will be no charge unless they are under 3 and then a charge of $39.60 per day attending applies.
- -If a child attends 4 days and attests their 20 hours to us there will be a charge of $26.40 per week (4 extra hours @ $6.60/hour = $26.40).
- -If a child attends 5 days and attests their 20 hours to us there will be a charge of $66.00 per week (10 extra hours @ $6.60/hour = $66.00).
- -If a child attests their hours to another provider the fee will be$6.60 per hour
About Waitoa
Waitoa is located on the main road halfway between Te Aroha and Morrinsville. Surrounded by dairy farms and a small rural community, employment is available at the Waitoa Dairy Factory, abattoirs, local businesses and in the farming community. Centrally located to many surrounding towns, the closest beach is an hour away at Waihi.

- Session times at our kindergarten are:
- Monday to Friday 8.45 am to 2.45 pm
Centre staffing
- Ratio is 1:10
- We have both full time and part time teachers
- All teachers are fully trained and registered
